Enterprise twin hoppers?

Not Enterprise, but N&W had some similar offset side twin hoppers which they
inherited in the 1964 NKP merger. Most were in the series 263650-264399, built
by ACF in 1947. Since they did not become N&W property until late 1964, the
"steam era" lettering scheme is not appropriate, but some at least, probably
were repainted in the "half-moon herald" scheme or the later simplified "NW"
scheme.    Jim Nichols

Subject: Enterprise twin hoppers?

Did N&W ever own any Enterprise offset side twin hoppers?  The car I'm talking
about is shown on this site:

I've kitbased a few, and am casting about for prototypical (and preferably
southeastern) paint and lettering.

Thanks,
Ken
