Without looking all this stuff up. Baseily the entrie railroad was built single track and they came back and
made the second bore when they double tracked. Tunnels like Eggleston 1&2 , Pembroke Elkhorn, Roderfield
are replacement tunnels mostly associated with line realignments . There are double bores at Tunnels 7, 5 and
Hatfield tunnel that I can think of right now.

Does anyone know what factors went into the separated design of Huger or Montgomery tunnels versus both tracks through the same bore like Elkhorn, Davy and Roderfield?

Are there other separated tunnels (other than Hatfields, which were bored at separate times?)
