N&W in 1910--Another fatality

COLORED BRAKEMAN KILLED
Charles Hester, colored, died yesterday afternoon as a result of an accident which befell him yesterday morning shortly after 3:30 o'clock, when he fell beneath the wheels of a moving freight train in the west yard and lost both legs. The man was carried to a hospital, but the doctors were not able to save his life. Hester was head brakeman on train No. 84 and 83 and had been with the railroad for a number of years.
