KILLED AT KIMBALL

Train Backed Over Colored Man at Work at Spark Pit
W. O. Robbins, colored, was killed yesterday afternoon about 2 o'clock at Kimball, when a train backed over him while he was at work at the spark pit. The dead man was about forty-five years of age and had been employed by the railroad for a number of years.

STRUCK BY TRAIN

Charles Tynes, Aged Thirty-five, Killed at Arthur, Va.
Charles Tynes, aged thirty-five years was struck by a train and instantly killed at Arthur, Va., last night about 8 o'clock. The man got off a freight train to go into the office at the railroad station to report for work when a pusher engine struck him, crushing his skull and otherwise bruising him fatally. Tynes was a telegraph operator.
