track & turnout diagrams

Joe:   This info, I think, is in the old Standards Book that we published
some years ago.  This book covered 'standard' parts, switches, road bed,
signs and similar for the Right of Way.  This particular book would have
been used by the RoW department engineers for the standard way of doing
things and the standard, stocked parts that would have been available for
building track and right of way.

I have searched the Commissary and the Archives without finding any
documents that show how the N&W laid track and switches. Am I missing
something? Where will I find this information?
