In my previous message where I wrote "just like Joe Brady" for Joseph A. (Steve) Broady, I should have written "just like Steve Broady" because that is the name that is most familiar.  Incidentally, Steve Broady was off the N&W.
 
Gordon Hamilton
 J. A. Broady was a native of Saltville and held seniority on the Pocahontas Division.  The fireman,
Albion G. Clapp, was from Whitsett, NC (near Burlington).   Harry Bundy
