Railway Express and N&W Shenandoah Division

One of the men who worked nights at Shenandoah Junction up until the end of 
passenger service in 1962 had worked White Post before being assigned to the 
junction.  He told me that White Post handled a lot of Railway Express 
business.  A lot of REA shipments changed hands between N&W 1 & 2 and B&O 
trains at Shenandoah Junction.  Berryville was open 24 hours, so that's a 
logical point where business to Winchester destinations would be handled.
