Well, we always wondered what the early N&W station and depot colors were.
Seems they weren't the yellowish cream and rusty-red trim in the early days.

Painting Railroad Property
In order to keep up the procession in Graham, the Norfolk and Western
are having their property here newly painted and a big force is engaged in
the work. The depot and other property in Graham owned by the company is
being touched off with a nice coat of the standard gray used by the
railroad.
