Cow Killed by Train
    A fine milch cow belonging to a colored woman by the name of Davis, residing north of the railroad, was killed yesterday morning by a freight train just west of the tower.  The owner of the cow wept bitterly when apprised of the accident which had befallen her cow and many persons thought that a member of the family had been killed when the woman was seen crying over her loss.
