Luray depot

I know this is an old subject now, but I've been away from my mail box for a 
couple of weeks.

Mason Cooper's book on the Shenandoah line has several pictures of the Luray 
station.  Judging from the pictures, the station is one of the railroad's 
standard designs, commonly called the "Farmville" station, I would guess 
because Farmville was the first built to that plan.  There are several of 
the type still in existence--Farmville, Abingdon, Christiansburg and 
Shepherdstown, to name a few.  Most are of brick, but the Abingdon one is 
stone.
