Silent Tribute to Memory of H. H. Rogers, who Was Responsible for Its Building

Fairhaven, Mass. May 22. In a massive Greek mausoleum on a knoll overlooking the town of his birth the remains of Henry Huttleston Rogers rest tonight near the bodies of his mother and daughter. As a tribute of respect and affection Fairhaven observed today as a day of mourning. Business was suspended throughout the town, the public buildings were draped in mourning and flags displayed at half mast.
------
Norfolk, May 22--At 2:30 o'clock the afternoon all trains on the Virginian Railway and all other operations of that system came to a stop for five minutes as a tribute of respect to the memory of the late H. H. Rogers during his funeral.
