THE GRAHAM DAILY NEWS
------
Train is to Stop Here
Today at all important points along the Norfolk and Western Railway a notice will be posted announcing that effective today train No. 15 will make a regular stop at Graham. This announcement will be gladly received by a large number of people in Graham who have occasion to go to the field daily and who do not like to make the early train and find that train No. 7 runs a little too late to suit their business in the field. The stopping of train No. 15 will be an inducement to a number of traveling men to stop in Graham after the Bluefield Inn goes out of existence on the first of April. The action by the railroad company is in response to an appeal from a number of the passengers who leave Graham every day for the field.

[Of course "the field" refers to the coal field west of Graham--later renamed Bluefield, Va.]
