A Miniature Engine
A model of one of the Class M engines used on the Norfolk and Western, with tender attached, is being exhibited in the window of the Phelps Furniture Company and is attracting considerable attention.
This miniature locomotive was made by J. I. Dunsford and is on a scale of 5-8 of an inch to the foot. In every particular it has the appearance of the original. Me. Dunsford must be a man of considerable patience and ingenuity to make this small model complete in every detail. About a year ago he made an exact model of a steamship and exhibited it. He does this work as a pastime between runs, he being a fireman on the Norfolk and Western.
