>From material on hand, I can't say that the town of Wise
ever had passenger service. Wise was served by
the Norton & Northern. In the early 20's, Glamorgan
north of Wise was served by the Interstate RR. Nos.
25-26 operated Stonega-Glamorgan with 3 cars hauled
by a 4-4-2.
Wise County ? Perhaps Nos. 5-6, Bluefield-Norton,
had a name or a nickname at one time Washouts on
N&W's Radford Division caused Nos. 41-42 (The Pelican)
to be detoured through Wise County in 1942.
