Improving Passenger Station
------
    The Norfolk and Western is preparing to make extensive and much needed improvements around the passenger station.  An umbrella shed similar to the one at Bluefield will be built and the train platform will be paved.  A force of men were at the depot yesterday morning taking the preliminary steps toward the construction work.
