Error in July-Sept Arrow

I just found a glaring error in the July - August - September 2008 Arrow. The
last sentence of the first paragraph on page 8 says "It started with the popular
RS-1 that began production in March 1941, shortly before the outbreak of
World War I:"

My sources tell me that World War I was fought from 1914 - 1918, so the RS-1
could not have been in production before WWI. And it couldn't have been
before World War II either because WWII started in 1939!

So there are two errors in one sentence. It was not WWI and it was not before
WWII. If I can trust the 1941 production date fot the ALCO RS-1 (and I'm not
sure that I can based on these errors) then the sentence should read "...after the
outbreak of World War II".
