Dining Car Service

    The new dining car service for trains Nos. 1 and 2 will be established today.  A la carte service will be provided between Gary and Roanoke.  The company has been planning the service for some time and no doubt it will be appreciated.  The travel between Roanoke and Bluefield is very heavy on these trains.

[During this period, the N&W was operating a through sleeper from Philadelphia to Gary, WV.  Although Gary seems like an unlikely end point for a sleeper and a diner, there apparently was a lot of activity there then.  Any comments Alex Schust?]
