JUST STEAMING ALONG

The last Norfolk & Western passenger train to be pulled by a steam 
locomotive pulls out of Cincinnati en route to Norfolk yesterday. The 
N&W has started using diesel engines on all its passenger trains, and 
within several years its freights will also be diesel-powered. The 
N&W is the last major U.S. railroad still using steam locomotives.
