PASSENGER TRAIN TO BOISSEVAIN

    On last Sunday [August 4] the first passenger train ran to Boissevain.  This special was a guaranteed train, and the guarantee was paid twice in excess of amount placed on deposit.  It is hoped that the Norfolk and Western will at an early date put on a regular scheduled train to this point.

[I wonder what was the purpose of this special train?  The 1915 Official Guide shows three passenger trains a day serving Boissevain.]
