I also count it as a 2-8-0. The forward most driver is often hidden in the
shadows behind the crosshead. The slo-motion close up run in reverse (about
half way through) seems to be the easiest to see.

In the close-up of the engine going over the gap and you can clearly count
the drivers. The only other explanation is that they used two different
engines in the film.
