Six Tunnels to Cost Three Million Dollars

    Welch, W. Va., Jan. 27--The Norfolk and Western today let contracts for six tunnels at a cost aggregating $3,000,000.  These will reduce the curves and shorten the distance on the West Virginia division fifteen miles.
