A few years ago I had to go to Fort Leonard Wood, MO. I took the opportunity to visit the museum specifically to get a look at the Y-6. First stop was the museum shop; I asked the fellow behind the register where I might find the Y-6. He had no idea what it was, but right next to the register was the museum catalogue, with a head on picture of her on the cover. She looked to be in pretty good shape. She was one of several engines that were located under cover. Visitors are not permitted to climb in the exhibits, but she was far enough away from the center of activity that it was simple enough to hop up into the cab. It's not a large museum, but well worth the visit. glm
