I tried running the Duco number 282-93520 Tuscan Red in the local DuPont
dealers computer system and turned up nothing. Duco was a very early lacquer
that came out in the early 20's and died off in the late 60's. A call to the
DuPont color library netted one solid fleet color, but unfortunately the only
formula they came up with was in Imron, certainly not modeler friendly. After
another call we came up with another DuPont fleet number N1411 A check of th
at formula show one of the mixing colors as aluminum, which would make the
color a metallic. My DuPont supplier can mix that formula in as small as 2oz
bottles of Centari enamel, but recommends 4 ounces for a truer mix. I have no
idea as of yet if the color is anywhere close, I will post more if I get any
more info. Doug Langlitz
