N&W airslides

Has anyone used the Eastern Car Works Airslide covered hopper 2600 cf model kit to do an N&W airslide? Looking at p. 74 (71000 series) and p. 81 (341000 series) of Rev's Color Guide to N&W Equipment, looks to be a dead ringer. If so, paint and decal tips please? Appears to be an off white rather than gray. These are decent kits. I've built the depressed center flat but not the covered hopper.
