ANNUAL MEETING TODAY

Stockholder of N. & W. Will Hold Forth - Dignitaries Here

   Today the annual meeting of the stockholders of the Norfolk & 
Western railway will be held at the general office building in this 
city. The principal feature of the meeting will be the election of 
officers for the ensuing year. The meeting of stockholders will be 
followed by a meeting of the board of directors.
   Me. Henry Fink, of New York, chairman of the board, Mr. E. H. 
Alden, of Philadelphia, secretary and assistant treasurer, and Mr. 
Joseph Doran, solicitor, arrived yesterday in President Johnson's 
private car. They are stopping at Hotel Roanoke.
