Deepwater Engineers Leave for Home

The corps of engineers who have been working on the survey of the Deepwater line in this section left yesterday for their homes having completed the work in this section.  They surveyed a line from Widemouth through Princeton to Eggleston's Springs where the line connects to the Tidewater road.  The engineers were employed by Lewis, of Charleston, W. Va.  They stated that they did not know any more about the backers of the Deepwater and Tidewater than the average Bluefielder, but were of the opinion that the Wabash people were the parties.
