Landslide at Ingleside

A big slide occurred Tuesday morning at 2:25 o'clock at Ingleside, on 
the Radford division of the Norfolk and Western. The fall of earth 
and rock was 225 feet in length and over 12 feet deep. An engine with 
several cars, which ran into the slide, was practically covered up. 
One of Roanoke's fire engines left for the scene to wash the earth 
out. Passengers are being transferred around the slide. Trains over 
that division were delayed an hour or more yesterday.
