Princeton, W. Va., March 2, 1907
The laying off of the Deepwater yards at this place has been
completed, and they are of mammoth proportions. They extend in length
about three miles and in width some three to five hundred yards. If
they shall be completed in accordance with the plans plotted by the
engineers, Princeton will have the largest railroad yards east of the
Mississippi river and south of the Ohio.
The weather still continues unfavorable for building operations,
not withstanding which work still continues unabated on the new
business and dwelling houses in course of erection.
