Train names

In the late '40's early '50s we lived in Pottstown just across the street 
from the Reading main line.  Not only did my mother rush out to bring in the wash 
when she heard the trains approaching, on Saturday mornings when she did the 
weekly cleaning if a train went by after she had completed it she had to go 
back and clean the coal dust from the window sills on the side of the house 
faceing the railroad  EVEN WHEN THE WINDOWS HAD BEEN CLOSED !

Just some of my childhood memories.
