Meet the J at......Platform 9 3/4?

When the first Harry potter book was released in the UK, the adult 
cover had a picture of a steam engine....a N&W J!

Recent UK covers now have a big red rock on them.

Odd, because in the book, the total train is red including the loco.  
However, the pic on the cover is in B&W.  But N&W passenger cars are 
red.....
