I just received a new TLC book on the Western Pacific. I ordered and paid
for this at least three years ago. This is not the first time I have waited
an extended period of time for one of their books, but I guarantee it’s my
last!

So does that mean TLC has been given the material / paid the advance but
hasn't produced the book? If everything has been provided as agreed by the
society then TLC should have it on their production board with a print date
which is usually just a matter of a month or so or at least in my experience
I've never heard of a 3+ year production date. I thought they were waiting
to get enough advance money to pay for the run.

Ron,
With all due respect, the fault lies with TLC and that is to whom you should
direct your inquiry.
Early on in my modeling venture, I announced a product that I thought would
be here sooner rather than the later at which it actually arrived.
That is why, when I announce a new product, it is already in my possesssion,
packed, and ready to ship.
