He passed that fondness down to his son Jim, apparently, since Jim loves them. Thanks for the tidbit. It will please Jim to know someone remembers his dad even slightly.

I knew Joe Francis slightly, but not enough to provide any comments about him except to recall that he was fond of Porsches.
