Remore control SD45s...

The remote controlled SD-45's didn't exactly turn in a stellar  performance on
the Pittsburgh Division either.  Entering Bellevue, the slave units  picked up
a stray radio transmission and reversed course, resulting in a  break-in-two.
 
They were used in the 8th  Mine District out of Pine Valley and, of  course, 
a Road Foreman of Engines was usually assigned to oversee their  operation.
Sammy Noe, RFE, was on the slave units of a crew moving coal to
Pine Valley.  Elated at the performance of the pusher units, he  radioed the
head end - "We're up to 10 MPH back here."  The head end  responded,
"We're stopped up here."
