I believe the aftercoolers were Wabco not Wilson. My first 
experience on the N&W in 1956 was testing the aftercooler 
between Roanoke and Bluefield. This was my only steam engine 
ride on the N&W. Bob Pilcher and Warner Jamison were also on 
the test run. It's a Wabco aftercooler on the 1218.
