Colors Displayed upon Switch Targets

The N&W used purple as the night indication of derails in derailing position on tracks other than main tracks in the early 1970's. It is in the #4 timetables of 1971, and I personally saw it used on a dwarf signal in front of a derail around that time. I don't think purple lasted very long though. - Keith Baker
