475 Diamond Jubilee

 You where absolutely correct about the back-dated 475 visiting Bristol in 1956, I just today viewed a commercial on WCYB5 announcing the 150th birthday of Bristol this year and it had excellent footage from the 100th celebration in 1956,of the 475 steaming west to the station, and the Southern Best Friend Of Charleston steaming east across Stage street to meet the 475. Everybody in the video was dressed in appropriate 1856 clothing.  It is a shame that railroads and communities don't celebrate in style like they once did.

 Didn't the railroad also back date the little G #7 about the same time??
