Ash Hoists

Some of you may recall my recent inquiry about ash hoists on the N&W and specifically, at Shenandoah Yard.  I did a further search of the VA Tech web site, searching on cinder rather than ash and found the following photo, which is at Roanoke:

This hoist appears very close to the type used at Shenandoah; the best "view" of the one at Shenandoah I have found thus far is contained in Volume 3 of the Heron Series tapes.
