The N&W bought ten C-630s numbers 1130-39 in 1966-67.

Number 1133 was renumbered to 133 in 12-83, retired in 12-85, traded in to GE in 9-86 and scrapped.

Nine of the 10 C-630s were renumbered in 12-83; exception was 1137 that was retired and scrapped in 11-83.

On Ebay is listed a Kodochrome slide of an N&W C-630 with a four digit number... "133." Seller says the slide was taken July 1984.

How is it that this poor engine came to loose one of the digits from its number?
