Also, Ford intends to close the Batavia, Ohio that makes FWD
transmissions and transaxles, plus the continuously variable
transmission (a really low volume turkey) in mid 2007.

This plant gets about 6-10 cars a day (M-F)over the Peavine, the
Cincinnati District, which has been cut over by Peebles and run as a
low-expense branch line with one local. Ford Batavia is the major
customer on this line.

Other businesses only get a few cars per month.

Maybe the Peavine will go from 'mostly rail-banked' to completely
rail-banked at that point?
