While studying the Data Series book on the Columbus District, I was wondering why the miles were from East Portsmouth in 1930, 0.0?
In 1945 they were from Portsmouth, 0.0 a differance of 1.8 miles. Then in 1967 they were from Norfolk. Then the mile marker mileage is differant than the miles from Norfolk, WHY???
Examples: 1930 Vera Junction 3.8 from E. portsmouth. 1945 1.12 from Portsmouth.
1967, 567.5 miles from Norfolk, mile marker is 608.5.
WHY???
