Yes, Jim, you are correct. Front Royal is still there
and used by maintenance of way/signal and
communications forces. Shepherdstown has been
restored and used as a community center and dentist
office (how would you like a root canal with a freight
rumbling by?). Charles Town is in derelict condition
with it's interior stripped out, but standing.

Although I didn't say so in my previous message, my
statement about no remaining station buildings was
between Shenandoah and Roanoke. Ken Miller told me
once that Buchanan depot was dismantled and the
materiel was saved as a "kit." However, it hasn't
been rebuilt anywhere to my knowledge.
