Eastbound Caboose on Bristol Line

This morning I saw something I haven't seen in many years.  Caboose 555648 (I think that's the right #) was headed east toward Roanoke on the back of a mixed freight. That is the first cab I've seen on a regular freight train in about 12 years. This cab has been on the Bristol/Rural Retreat local for years.  I just hope it isn't headed for retirement.
