Caboose Site

On the corner of Randall Parkway (facing the local in-street trackage), a local businessman is well along preparing a display site for the N&W caboose he has acquired. The NS folks tell me that the cab is sitting in Roanoke and will be brought down to Bristol by three local moves.

The end result will be a re-painted, nicely displayed historic memento one block from the restored Union Station.
