Locomotive Cyclopedia Vol II cover

On the cover of "The Locomotive Cyclopedia Volume II" by Hundman Publishing is a print of a painting by Larry Fisher featuring N&W 2003 and 2007 at the head of a coal train coming off a steel trestle.

Both numbers are Y3 locomotives, and they appear to be Y3 locomotives, but they have A tanks.  Is this the imagination of the painter?

Does the steel trestle exist somewhere on the N&W?

It looks like a good scene to incorporate in a model railroad.
