EMD Builders plate

To whoever posted the question:

The EMD Builders Plate according to the Extra 
2200 South March –April issue for 1975 lists the 
74661-xx orders as SD40-2’s for Chicago & 
Northwestern.  These units were 35 units in the 
late 6800’s to 69xx.  The magazine did not 
specifically list what road number the “-15” build number was.

Checking the Second Generation Diesels of the N&W 
by Whithers and Bowers confirms that the 74661 
order was not an N&W order series.
