The GEs are long gone to California, and at last report the only track
that was to be left in place was a short spur off the CSX interchange.

So is all shipping out of Yorktown NWS by truck or ship now? My father was
assigned there in the mid - '60s as part of the Marine guard unit. I can
clearly recall the GE switchers pulling strings of flatcars carrying
crated bombs around the base.
