First J to be scrapped

Here is what I posted last August regarding dates on Class J. As Bud 
mentioned, and I mentioned to you off list, I have never seen actual 
scrap sale dates on any of these. I have a photo dated mid 1960 with a 
line of locomotives with the boilers cut off and flues and tubes 
removed, back in the line is clearly a Class J, not idetifiable with 
number painted out.

number, retired date and location

These dates are from official equipment ledgers, retirement dates are 
not the date sold for scrap, but physically removal from roster.
