Builder's photo of CTC machines

I would speculate that nothing is left of the CTC machine for the Shenandoah Valley line. It also would have been huge in comparison to the Bristol Line's machine, which was five or six panels.

My copy of the builder photo came from a private collection, but I suspect that the archives probably has copies of all these photos. Does anyone know for sure?

Subject: Re: Signal Charts

My signal charts were put together by me. I could
find no official source of signal references except
for track charts. So I wrote it all up in an easy
reference page.

The 1947 information comes straight off the CTC
machine builders photograph. All the signal
information was on that machine. Now, I have the
beginning of the position light system and the end of
it charted out. The in between signal updates and
removals were done in several stages, as the N&W
removed sidings. Some signal installations were
realigned and some weren't.

The 1996 information came off a track chart and by my
personal scouting and searching.

Good afternoon, Ben:

Nice job on the signal listings. Question: where does
one find builder's photos of CTC machines? Perhaps I
can look at the Shenandoah Division machine that used
to be in the freight station where the VMT is now
located. Where the model board diagrams or other
components of these saved after they were retired?

Best wishes,

Frank
