Right ...They were the first escalators I can remember in Roanoke..I also
thought the Station was very Modern for its time..I got run out of there
as a 10 year old for Confusing the Trainman with a series of "Official
Railroad Hand Signals " I had learned from my Grandfather's Virginian Rule
