A good place to go for topographic maps is www.topozone.com
<http://www.topozone.com> You can look at and print any USGS map section
in any scale. There are many, if not most, of the "abandoned railroad
grades" shown on these maps.

Jerry,
I'm not sure of the exact directions; however, anyone with the convention
should be able to direct you to Vardo. It is located very near the Outlet
Mall off I-70; actually, the exit just west of the Outlet Mall will dump you
out almost at Vardo. I did not find a very friendly reception from the NS
personnel on my last visit several years ago. Good luck.

I will be attending the NMRA regional convention at Hagerstown next weekend.
Believe Vardo yard is nearby; does anyone have good directions ? I do not
have USGS map of the area; can go with mapquest if I know what to look for.
